Counseling Psychology Doctoral Student

Alanna is a first-year Counseling Psychology doctoral student at Lehigh. She completed her BA at Yale University in Psychology, with the completion of an additional major in Film & Media Studies. Her completed thesis discussed the effect of Black history on believability and Blood pressure reactivity in interracial interactions. Her research interests are currently about the complexities and healing of generational trauma, as well as in group out group interactions. Her research interests additionally include the connection between media and psychology.
