Counseling Psychology Doctoral Student
Darlene Campos is a second-year student in the Counseling Psychology PhD program in the College of Education at Lehigh University. She pursued her B.A. in Psychology at Clark University. Her research interests broadly focus on ethnic-racial socialization/identity development, youth program intervention, mentorship, and investigating how cultural values serve as protective or risk factors. Darlene is also passionate about making the graduate school admissions process accessible and mentors 1-2 students each year looking to apply to graduate school. Additionally, she is involved in the Society of Counseling Psychology's (Division 17) Student Affiliates of Seventeen (SAS) and Psicológos Latinos Avanzando Nuestros Servicios (PLANS). In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, trying out local coffee shops, and going to concerts.
